We are PROFESSIONAL FLORISTS specialising in exotic tropical arrangements and exquisite wedding flowers and have been the SHERATON MIRAGE FLORIST for over thirteen years (as Mirage Flowers / Flower Mania). Being the only PORT DOUGLAS FLORIST shop, our work is varied as we design flowers for anything from functions to weddings to funerals.

PORT DOUGLAS TROPICAL FLORIST   has recently moved into the town itself  to capture more passing trade for our flowers and beads and at the same time taking on a new name PORT DOUGLAS TROPICAL FLORIST, to become associated more with PORT DOUGLAS.  (After twelve months in town we have decided to change again and to become a mobile florist, to allow us more time to develop our beautiful wedding flowers, beach weddings and corporate work.  After all this time and planning we have finally published our special, new web site for wedding flowers www.portdouglasweddingflowers.com.au  our beach wedding site is www.portdouglasbeachweddings.com.au )

OUR FLOWER ARRANGEMENTS ARE FANTASTIC, EXOTIC, TROPICAL MASTERPIECES.  If you are looking for beautiful, fresh exotic flowers, we can help you.  Flowers to say thank you, flowers if someone is ill, flowers for a wedding, flowers for a function, flowers for an emergency (and we have a lot of those!) or flowers just for you, telephone us on +61 (0) 7 4099 1228 or +61 (0) 7 4099 5566 and we will be at your service.  We prefer to do only local area deliveries,as far north as Cape Tribulation,  including Mossman, Cooya, Newell Beach, Wonga Beach, the Daintree, Mount Molloy, Julatten, Oak Beach and the Cairns area, that way our own courier can handle all of our deliveries and your flowers are in good hands until they reach their destination. 

The other half of the shop is taken up with our beautiful beads. We source our own beads from Australia and Overseas that way we don't have to add on the costs of the middleman.  The beads, which we send to customers all over the world, range from the most amazing to the very plain, including pearls, crystal, wood, bone, glass, plastic, resin, acrylic etc., all at really good prices and yes we give huge discounts for large quantities.We have a huge range of findings, and if it is not on the racks, we just haven't had the time to package them, and if we still don't have them we can always get them in for you.  We are now working on a new web site for selling beads and teaching beading using our very simple to understand methods, the site should be published very soon please look it up  www.beadkitsaustralia.com.au

Another popular product we've introduced is our hand made soaps, made right here in Port Douglas.  They are beautiful bright tropical colours (good enough to eat!!) and the subtle fragrances are to die for and they all have lots of bubbles!  We even have a pure coconut oil soap which is marvellous for washing your hair, and pure goat's milk soap, perfect for babies, children and adults who have any type of allergy. Another web site is in the making!!!!

We also have a beautiful range of polyester silk sarongs in vivid tropical colours, once again made right here in Port Douglas (visitors love things made in Port Douglas) they are uncrushable and people love them for travelling as they fold up into a tiny bag.
